About this speaker
Dr. Kristin Reihman graduated from Yale College in 1992 with a major in American Studies before embarking on a journey to reconnect with science by completing three years of pre-medical requirements at UT Austin. Following this, she dedicated two years to teaching the MCAT for the Princeton Review to refresh her mathematical skills. In 2004, she pursued her medical education at Stanford School of Medicine and subsequently completed her family medicine residency at Lehigh Valley Hospital.
Her training extends beyond traditional medicine into various non-traditional modalities such as medical acupuncture, Balint credentialing, Craniosacral Fascial Therapy, the Art of Hosting, Autonomic Response Testing, and the International Lyme and Associated Diseases Educational Foundation’s Provider Training Program.
In 2012, she established an integrative, holistic complexity practice from her home, which has since evolved into the Trout Creek Healing Collective wellness center. Her first ebook, Life After Lyme: Revive Your Inner Rock Star and Achieve a Full Recovery, was published on October 1, 2018.
Outside of her professional endeavors, she is a devoted wife and mother of four children. She believes in the importance of individual contributions towards healing the Earth for present and future generations, which is why she is dedicated to helping individuals recover from complex, chronic medically mysterious illnesses.
Having experienced Lyme disease three times, including a Near Death Experience in 2011, she is passionate about teaching others how to navigate recovery using natural and sustainable methods. She emphasizes the significance of addressing not only the Lyme bacteria but also the overall vitality, strength, and resilience of the individual, known as the terrain, in achieving full recovery.
Her practice continues to evolve as she seeks to make a greater impact on the lives of those with complex, chronic, medically mysterious illnesses. In addition to her clinical work, she plans to host web-based group visits, retreats for patients and doctors, and continues writing to support wellness seekers on their journey to wholeness.
